 A Little about Us...

Crown Z Quarter Horses was started in 1971 by myself, Linda and my husband Phillip Zuver.

We started with a little 14-2 hand liver chestnut stallion "Raven Boomer" he was Ricky Taylor/Three Bars  bred and we had two mares, Breeze Reed and her daughter, Dawn's Palleo Bar (Marty Reed/Bartender and Palleo Pete/Leo bred).

Through the years I have obtained many life time friends, who have shared my strong love for the AQHA breed.  In the late 60s I began showing in AQHA shows in the western events, winning my share of trophies and ribbons.  Horses were in my life for good. My two daughters, Cassondra and Theresa also share my love of horses, helping with the training and showing of the horses we raised. They too, showed in 4-H and breed shows earning their share of trophies.  We, as a family have worked hard to breed the kind of horses you want to own. We have had spent 40 years between then and now breeding AQHA horses that have confirmation, type, disposition and ability to be an all around horse. One that you can show, pleasure, trail, work cattle, run barrels or anything you want to do.  Most of our horses were born with us having had both mother and father to them.    Our business is family operated, we ride, train, and sell what we raise.  We currently stand 1 stallion at this time at our place in Stanwood Wa.  We have several foals and young stock for sale.

Our past stallions were:
Raven Boomer, Paul Easter JR, Explosive Man, Roan's A Comin, Tee J Quarter Jack, Tee J Frosty Eddie and How D Senor Roman.

We still have daughters and granddaughters of some of them.  With the passing of Tee J Quarter Jack we move into a new era with many of his daughters to still carry on the lines we have worked so hard to build.  Our new stallions also are foundation and should breed as true with color a plus (Palomino, Buckskin, Dun, Grullo, Gray).

We also share a love of Autralian shephard dogs.  We have Sheila, a blue merle who have given us a few litters of puppies over the past 8 years.   We have a Pug named Dolly who has wonderful puppies, a mini red tri aussie named Mattie, a toy blue merle aussie named Misty, a back tri male mini aussie name Oz;  three cats, 2 canaries, chickens and a few aquariums so you can see we love all animals.  We do plan to raise some real nice minature aussie pups we should have some available this winter.

We moved to our Stanwood adddress in 2000 starting the new millinium in our new home.  Before that we had lived 27 years at our farm in Arlington, where people came every spring to see the new foals playing in the field.  Now we have a new group of passing admirers.
